The awning is primarily a sun shade, but it is useful to have in the rain as well. The slope on the awning is not very steep and so puddles do tend to accumulate.
The Rain strap kit fixes that. Just attach these nifty little self locking clips to the centre of each panel and peg them down to create a valley.
