Ostrich Wing Awning – Your ultimate off-road companion since 2008!
This legendary 4×4 awning sets up in less than 30 seconds and provides a generous 11m² of shade. It extends 270° from the side of your vehicle to the rear and requires no support poles or straps in mild weather conditions. Designed for convenience, the awning can be set up and taken down single-handedly.
The Ostrich Wing Awning is crafted from 320gsm UV-resistant and rot-proof rip-block canvas, and supported by several robust aluminium trusses. The trusses are designed for maximum strength and pivot on nylon bushes for smooth operation.
In mild wind, this product can be used without down-pole support. However, should the wind become gusty additional precautions should be taken (deploy the single pole provided, fit the optional 2 support poles, and tie the frame down using the eyelets provided). If poor conditions prevail, it is best to be safe and pack the awning away. DO NOT go to bed and leave the awning open un-anchored as weather conditions can change very quickly.
The Ostrich Wing Awning is available in left-hand and right-hand configurations — please select your preference at checkout. (Note – for motor vehicles, left-hand is always as viewed from inside the vehicle looking forward). The awning is available in Olive Green or Grey Canvas with an Olive Green or Black Canvas bag — choose your preference during checkout.
Enhance your setup with side panels and additional support poles, available in kits or separately. Panels attach to the main awning with a Vislon zip and can be fitted in any position. The panel kit consists of 1 x “door” panel, 1 x “window” panel and 2 x “plain” panels.
An LED light kit is also available to fit underneath the frame.
