The gullwing hinges clamp directly onto the vehicle’s gutters—meaning no drilling is required for the gullwings themselves. (However, minor drilling may be needed for the trim panels.) In addition, the gullwing design does not interfere with roof-rack mounting brackets, making it fully compatible with a variety of roof rack setups.
